Words: Thumper and Hawk Nelson

“They've made me feel like a prisoner
They've made me feel set free
They've made me feel like a criminal
Made me feel like a king”

This opening verse from Hawk Nelson’s Words says a lot. Not only with what we verbally say, but what we write as well. What do I mean by that? Writing is basically our voice being put on paper. Set in stone. So, what are you going to do? How are you going to use your words? Your writing?
My goal with my writing is to point others to Christ. Why? My written voice speaks farther than I can physically travel.Would they be encouraging, lifting people up, or tearing people down and creating invisible damage?

“Let the words I say
(Let the words I say)
Be the sound of Your grace
(Sound like Your grace)
I don't wanna say a word
Unless it points the world back to You
(Back to You)

Words can build us up
Words can break us down
Start a fire in our hearts
Or put it out

I don't wanna say a word
Unless it points the world back to You”

Or as Thumper the Rabbit would say……
If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all
